What Is EO Learning
EO Learning is an Africa-centric online learning programme titled ‘African Conflict and Politics’. It consists of seven free-standing yet interrelated modules.
Following extensive collaboration and input from internationally recognised academics and practitioners alike, the modules were developed to illuminate the unfolding conflict and political dynamics and realities of Africa.
Programme participants must understand that each module is based on his/her own extensive reading and research to gain a better understanding of the module content.
As this is an online, self-study, distance-education programme, participants will be required to work at their own pace but with the aim of understanding and being able to rationalise and apply the contents of each module.
The modules encapsulate what is considered important and provide the participants with related hyperlinks as well as a list of recommended and essential reading.
Module discussions will be conducted via video teleconferencing at predetermined dates and times.
Given the module content, each module should take a participant approximately 2 months to complete to gain a good understanding of its content and impact on Africa. However, it can, depending on the time available to participants be completed sooner.
