Bohumil Doboš is a lecturer and researcher at the Institute of Political Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic. He focuses on topics related to geopolitics, more specifically violent non-state actors, astropolitics and neomedievalism. He is (co-)author of works like Territoriality of Radical Islamist Groups (Routledge), Shapeshifter of Somalia (Small Wars and Insurgencies), or Between the Hammer and the Anvil (Civil Wars). Between 2016 and 2021 he also served at the Defence Policy and Strategy Division of the Czech Ministry of Defence.
